Scientifically, we've turned a corner. We aren't at longevity escape velocity yet, but we're rapidly approaching.

Hello friends!

And maybe hello to several people I've never met!

ree

I'll try to keep this concise, along with all the posts I put on here.

The most frequent question I get is:

"What do I do?"

The least frequent question is:

"How does it work?

Accordingly, I'll share what I do. I'll include relevant information for how you might vary it (For example smaller doses if you weigh less than 155 lbs like me. Or less intense exercise.)

I'll do my best to refrain from explaining too much of how and why. But... please forgive me in advance - I love understanding how things work, and reflexively assume others love it as much as I do. So I'm bound to slip up here and there. I'll try to reach the balance that keeps it fun.

Structure

I'll post the practices I do, and links to buy any associated toys and supplements. Some brands are better than others (especially with more expensive supplements like NMN). I'll share the brands and models I buy, which are probably the best bang for your buck. And I'll note more or less expensive versions if you're looking for the 80/20 principle to guide you. I'll include pictures. I'll include dosages.

For discount codes, you might have to email me. But if there's a longstanding code for Dave Asprey, Ben Greenfield, etc., I'll probably include that in the post.

Frequency

This is a side-gig for me. It's here to help my friends, and my friends' friends. I won't hold to any discipline about frequency. I'll probably binge-post when I have time, and totally ignore it when I don't.

I'll try to post when noteworthy new findings arise. I'll especially post quickly and boldly if something that seemed true a year ago is suddenly contradicted by new studies. Remember, biohacking is the wild west of health and medicine. New research is always coming forth.

That said, I tend to be more risk-averse than many people in this space. My body and mind are currently in great shape, and I want to keep them that way. The first question I always ask (and answer) is "How can this damage me?" Accordingly, I tend to only undertake experiments and disciplines whose only downside is unnecessary discomfort (like cold showers every morning), or less tasty meals (like sardines in my salads), or supplements that end up being useless placebo.

Next Steps

I invite you to subscribe. The only time you'll get an email is when I post something new.

I invite you to leave comments, to ask questions, and offer your experiences where relevant. And I especially invite you to bring things to my attention that I may be missing - either due to risks or opportunities.

Happy hacking, and I hope to see you all a few years younger next time we're together!
